This is my newest series, called 'Three Heaters'. They all originated from the last painting shown on this post (the only one portrayed as a landscape, and not a portrait).

Bulls On Parade SERIES
SERIES #1
Maezy's Bulls
I painted these the day that Libbey and I found out some news about Maezy, so I made these paintings with her in mind.
Proud Bull
This series was one of the most fun for me because I felt like I really got a chance to study this bull. I had a chance to explore the shapes, colors, and lines of this bull. If you look at the first and last bulls, there are a lot of similarities. I also like this series because there is a solid 7 in the group. If you have a wall that is big enough to accomodate them, this series would look nice because of the color in the first and last pieces. It appears to be anchored on the wall at each end.
Glass Bulls
Picasso Bull
This was another fun series for me because these are tributes to Picasso; one bull in particular, that he created. I have always been a BIG, BIG fan of his bull, and this was a great chance for me to look at, study, and break down/build up this bull, of which I have always been so fond.
